- Add a little letter spacing if words feel crowded.
- Try a soft background instead of pure white.
- Use phrase mode if single words feel too disconnected.
Keep comprehension first
If you are rereading the same passage several times, slow the reader down. A comfortable pace is more useful than a high number.
